Life Sciences Trainer Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated trainer to join our training team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering structured training programs in life sciences to students, fresh graduates, and early-career professionals.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Training Delivery: Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on core life sciences topics such as molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacology, biotechnology, and lab safety. Teach both foundational concepts and industry-specific applications aligned with NSDC or relevant skill council guidelines. Use interactive teaching methods (e.g., case studies, demonstrations, role play) to keep trainees engaged.
  2. Curriculum Implementation: Follow standardized training modules developed under the skill development program. Customize content delivery based on the learning pace and educational background of students. Prepare lesson plans, presentations, handouts, and evaluation material as needed.
  3. Lab Training and Demonstrations: Supervise and guide students in hands-on lab sessions related to pipetting, media preparation, microscopy, cell culture, PCR, chromatography, aseptic techniques, etc. Ensure that lab equipment and materials are used safely and effectively. Instruct students on standard operating procedures (SOPs), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) where applicable.
  4. Evaluation and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress through quizzes, practical tests, assignments, and evaluations. Provide constructive feedback to students, help them improve technical and soft skills, and guide them toward employment readiness. Submit training reports, attendance records, and evaluation results to project coordinators.
  5. Career Guidance and Mentoring: Counsel trainees on career options in the life sciences domain including pharma manufacturing, R&D, quality control, regulatory affairs, clinical research, and healthcare. Help prepare candidates for interviews, resume writing, and workplace expectations. Coordinate with placement teams to identify job opportunities for successful candidates.
  6. Industry Linkage and Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest advancements in life sciences and industry trends. Incorporate real-world examples, recent innovations, and employability skills (communication, teamwork, etc.) into the curriculum. Collaborate with industry experts or guest lecturers for specialized sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in life sciences or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in training delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
