AI Data Scientist

The position of AI Data Scientist focuses on leveraging mathematical and statistical skills to drive business growth through the application of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models using various programming languages and libraries such as Python, R, and SAS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights from data, identify business requirements, and derive use cases for structured and unstructured data.
  • Utilize a range of tools and techniques including exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, pipeline creation, model training, and hyperparameter tuning to develop and deploy cloud-based applications.
Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics with hands-on experience working with probability distributions and hypothesis testing.
  • Ability to work effectively with structured and unstructured data sets, utilizing AI-specific utilities like ChatGPT, Hugging Face Transformers, and image/video analytics.
  • Excellent storytelling, business communication, and documentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in programming skills including SAS, Python, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, data pipeline, data engineering, and statistics knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with time series modeling, forecasting, natural language processing (NLP), and ML services from Clouds such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Databricks is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Acquire skills required for building Machine Learning models and deploying them for production.
  • Feature Engineering, EDA, Pipeline creation, Model training, and hyperparameter tuning with structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based applications, including LLM/GenAI, into production.

This role will involve working on complex projects that require a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
