Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills, as well as a broad understanding of EHS fields.

This role involves leading office safety, safety culture, and other EHS programs. The selected individual will act as a liaison with the Occupational Health group for injury management and workers compensation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of EHS programs and safety culture initiatives
  • Ensure successful start up and expansion through compliance with local and country regulatory requirements
  • Align with policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Develop comprehensive training, communication, and awareness plans
  • Establish strong ergonomics programs and processes
  • Collaborate with key partners and office leadership teams
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Doctorate degree and 2 years of EHS experience OR
  • A Master s degree and 8-10 years of EHS experience OR
  • A Bachelor s degree and 10-14 years of EHS experience OR
  • A Diploma and 14-18 years of EHS experience
  • Ergonomics knowledge
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations as they pertain to office-based operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite programs and data management
  • Broad knowledge of EHS programs including laboratory safety and fleet safety
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
