Implementation Specialist (Email Security)

\About the Role:\

Our client is seeking a skilled engineer with experience in email security platforms to join their dedicated practice for Proofpoint implementations.

\

This role offers an opportunity to work on enterprise-grade cybersecurity products and become an early member of a fast-growing security practice serving the Indian Market.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Proofpoint solutions (e.g., Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.).\
  • Work closely with clients to understand security needs, design appropriate configurations, and ensure successful implementations.\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement.\
  • Work with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems.\
  • Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients.\
  • Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint expertise.\
  • Develop strong understanding of email protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.\
  • Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption.\
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.\
  • Exposure to Proofpoint solutions (e.g., admin console, policy configuration, TAP, DLP).\
  • Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation.\
  • Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).\
