Job Overview

The Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd – Glass Business has invested in the Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit, acquired in 2011. Located in Central Gujarat, this state-of-the-art float glass plant spans 150 acres, producing 550 MT of clear glass per day with less than 650 ppm of Iron, setting a high-quality benchmark standard within India and globally.

Our campus boasts an in-house Sand Beneficiation plant, capable of producing 600 tons of treated sand per day. We have also invested in value-added products, such as Shower Cubicles, to cater to Home and Hospitality business segments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting & fault diagnosis of technical breakdowns
  • Maintaining plant instrumentation spares
  • Continuous monitoring of unsafe conditions in plant and rectifying them
  • Commissioning of instrumentation projects
  • Plan actualisation of preventive maintenance
  • Follow Up with Purchaser & Supplier
  • Predictive Maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma - Instrumentation & Control Engineering with Good Academic record
    • 2-4 years
      • Relocation to Bharuch/Ankleshwar is mandatory.
