Key Responsibilities

  • Select features, build and optimize classifier engines using deep learning techniques
  • Apply suitable image processing techniques to tackle complex problems
  • Utilize AI/Deep Learning techniques for supervised and unsupervised learning
  • Design solutions for intricate medical image analysis tasks using Deep Learning/Object Detection/Image Segmentation
  • Implement best practices around statistical modeling
  • Create, train, test, and deploy neural networks to address challenging issues
  • Develop and implement solutions that cater to business needs, including algorithm implementation from standard statistical tools, deep learning, or custom development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality deliverables

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong software engineering skills in Python (or other languages used in data science) with emphasis on clean code, modularity, and testability
  • Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with Deep Learning techniques such as ANN, CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers, VAEs etc.
  • Mastery of Tensorflow or PyTorch framework in building, training, testing, and deploying neural networks
  • Experience in solving problems in the domain of Computer Vision
  • Familiarity with data, data augmentation, data curation, and synthetic data generation
  • Able to understand complex problems and design solutions that fit all constraints
  • Knowledge of common data science and deep learning libraries and toolkits such as Keras, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Scipy, OpenCV etc.
  • Good applied statistical skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices

Bonus Skills

  • Experience designing and building ML architecture components (e.g., feature stores, model registries, inference servers)
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Expertise in model optimization techniques (e.g., ONNX conversion, TensorRT, model distillation)
  • Familiarization with Triton

Education: BE/B Tech MS/M Tech (desired but not required)
