Lead Data Architect

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure. As a senior leader, you will oversee the deployment of enterprise data platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and establish best practices.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and workflow orchestration tools
  • Deep understanding of data storage, processing, and governance, including advanced knowledge of data warehousing, Lakehouse architectures, and real-time streaming
  • Proven ability to build and deploy scalable data systems, including design and implementation of robust, production-grade data platforms on Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with big data technologies, such as Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/sub, or similar, for large-scale data processing
  • Strong security and compliance expertise, including implementing and enforcing security controls, encryption, audit logging for data systems, and compliance standards

Key skills include:

  • Python and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer)
  • Data architecture: data lakes, warehouses, streaming (e.g., Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and production-grade data platform deployment
  • Data security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling, relational modeling, and designing scalable data models
  • SQL skills level - Expert
  • Deep understanding of BigQuery, including experience with partitioning, clustering, and performance optimizations
  • Experience with Cloud Function, Composer, and Cloud Run, including writing Flex templates
