Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT GRC professional to lead our organization-wide compliance program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all IT activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a robust IT Governance program, encompassing both internal and external IT processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with commonly used governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, leveraging this expertise to inform strategic decisions.
  • Design and operationalize metrics and reporting activities to provide ongoing insights into compliance performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team to ensure risk readiness across the entire IT landscape.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to process owners, providing expert guidance and influencing key decisions regarding governance and compliance.
  • Develop, review, and update IT Audit policies, procedures, and standards documents to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
  • Coordinate and track IT-related audits, including scope, parties involved, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with external auditors and consultants, working together to deliver high-quality IT assessments and audits.
  • Define business process responsibilities and ownership of controls within the GRC tool, scheduling regular assessments to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing a risk assessment framework and program aligned with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Possession of at least one security certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the industry, with a deep understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity Frameworks.
  • Able to develop standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Skilled in implementing IT policies, standards, and procedures to drive significant improvements in compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including experience with formal report writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and issue resolution.
