The Data Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines and data warehouse migrations, monitoring and troubleshooting scripts across AWS environments, validating QuickSight dashboards and reporting accuracy, and collaborating with engineering and leadership to ensure seamless data flow and visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough testing of ETL pipelines and data warehouse migrations to ensure high data quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot scripts across various AWS environments to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Validate the accuracy of QuickSight dashboards and reports to ensure timely and accurate insights.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and leadership teams to ensure smooth data flow and maintain excellent communication throughout the process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Batch Jobs, and QuickSight.
- Strong SQL expertise with proficiency in joins, subqueries, and analytical functions.
- Proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle SQL) and SSIS with hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with UNIX commands for log analysis and job monitoring, as well as experience with RedShift.
- Experience in writing test automation scripts for data pipelines.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
- Experience in automating data testing using AI/ML tools.
- CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
