Job Title: Enterprise Data Migration Specialist

A leading organization seeks a seasoned data professional to spearhead the migration of large-scale Teradata workloads to Databricks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Teradata ETL development & migration, proficiency in Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python, as well as a deep understanding of orchestration, scheduling, and data validation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the migration of Teradata ETL workloads to Databricks SQL.
  • Refactor ingestion pipelines using SQL and/or Python for improved performance.
  • Design and implement data validation scripts for side-by-side comparisons between legacy and modern systems.
  • Configure orchestration and job scheduling within the Databricks environment for seamless workflow management.
  • Perform unit, integration, UAT, and performance testing for migrated code to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Teradata ETL development & migration.
  • Proficiency in Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of orchestration, scheduling, and data validation techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
