Job Overview

This is a short-term project, 6 months contract position with one of the leading global technology companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to a new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document, and otherwise quality-proof work to ensure software meets business and operational needs.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.
  • Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
  • Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, support, and security teams.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with JavaScript and related frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices, build, and deployment technologies.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in required areas and excellent collaboration skills. Experience working with cutting-edge technologies is desired.
