Cloud Engineer Role OverviewThis is a highly dynamic and challenging role in our cloud engineering team. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join us in developing and implementing our cloud-native products.

About the JobWe are looking for a skilled software engineer with strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages such as Python or Golang.The successful candidate will contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services, design and implement the product roadmap, support cloud infrastructure deployments, and continuously monitor and improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

Skills and QualificationsThe following skills and qualifications are required for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in a software development role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing, and network protocols
  • Prior experience in developing networking products (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Openstack/Devstack is a plus
  • Prior experience with Linux networking stack, kernel modules, and device drivers is a plus
