Role Overview

We seek a content professional passionate about the devotional and mythology space, with strong skills in research, writing, and editing in both English and Hindi.

The role involves creating high-quality, SEO-friendly content across multiple formats and channels while maintaining editorial standards and managing calendars. You will collaborate with writers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, engaging, and reader-friendly content for Indian and global audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on the devotional and mythology space to create rich content.
  • Create and translate content for various marketing materials/channels like eBooks, infographics, and quizzes in English/Hindi.
  • Research relevant trends, hot keywords, and gaps in online content to create fresh content for the devotional space for Indian and global users.
  • Establish content quality benchmarks and ensure the quality of published content.
  • Develop a monthly and seasonal editorial calendar with the editorial team.
  • Commission articles from the writing team (both freelance and in-house) and ensure timely delivery.
  • Evaluate and approve submitted articles for cohesiveness and maintaining the voice and freshness of the content.
  • Edit and rewrite articles, some of which may be rejected or returned to the writer for revision.
  • Edit and rewrite descriptions, website content, marketing communications, etc.
  • Ensure all published content is of top-notch quality and reader-friendly.
  • Ensure all published content is SEO-friendly.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and deliver efficient results.
  • Oversee artwork, design, and photography for web content.

Requirements

  • Excellent English/Hindi writing skills with the ability to research, structure, and deliver grammatically error-free content.
  • Fluent in Hindi/English speaking and writing.
  • Interest in devotional, mythology, and spiritual space.
  • Good understanding of data and the ability to gather insights for better results.
  • Highly accountable and takes initiatives.
  • Process-oriented mindset and scale thinking.
  • Experienced in building teams and scalable processes.
  • Loves technology and how it can be used to scale processes.
