Data Analyst Job Description

The Data Analyst role is a dynamic position that requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills and experience in managing large-scale databases. This job involves creating, updating, and deleting master data while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

This includes managing users and their corresponding roles within the organization. It also involves reviewing imported data to ensure it meets quality standards, collaborating with quality assurance analysts if necessary. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master Data Management: Create, update, and delete master data while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • User Role Management: Manage users and their corresponding roles within the organization.
  • Quality Assurance: Review imported data to ensure it meets quality standards, collaborating with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Data Set Lifecycle Management: Commission and decommission data sets according to organizational guidelines.
  • Confidential Data Handling: Process confidential data and information in accordance with established protocols.
  • Report Development: Contribute to the creation of reports and analyses, working closely with stakeholders to meet their requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work effectively with stakeholders to assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Business-Technical Communication: Capacity to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for non-technical stakeholders.
