Job Overview

A leading organization is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions to support enterprise data initiatives. This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, capable of building scalable data pipelines and developing high-quality dashboards and reports that enable informed decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering & Integration: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts, working closely with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Collaboration & Delivery: Collaborate with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions, providing status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
Key Qualifications
  • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS (ETL development).
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles (dimensional, normalized, denormalized).
  • Experience working in an offshore delivery model with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security models in Power BI.
