Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm legal licenses & compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaison to maintain a comprehensive database of all active licenses, including expiration dates and renewal requirements.
  • Liaison to develop and implement a system for timely license renewals, ensuring no lapse in professional licensure.
  • Research and stay informed of specific licensing requirements for various legal specializations within the organization.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
  • Develop and maintain a compliance calendar to track deadlines for legal and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's operations.
  • Prepare reports summarizing compliance status and identifying any potential areas of risk.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., HR, Finance) to ensure adherence to internal policies related to legal compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Law degree from an accredited Indian law school
  • 2+ years of experience as an in-house counsel, with a focus on health care law
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with the organization's operations and culture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services
  • Read, speak & write Kannada, English, Hindi advantage
