- Job Description: As a Unix Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our mission-critical Unix environment. You will ensure the smooth operation of our systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 or Level 3 support for Unix systems in a banking environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Operate under ITIL processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Unix operating systems (AIX, Power 8/9/10).
- Experience with HMC (v10) and VIOS (3.1.1.25/ 3.1.4.31/ 4.1.0.21).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
