About the Role

We are an industrial-AI start-up accelerating Industry 4.0 adoption by empowering subject matter experts to create and deploy AI and IIoT applications without programming or data science expertise.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient testing through automated test scripts using Python. You will collaborate with developers and QA engineers to design test strategies, utilize Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks for web-based application testing, and perform API testing using REST Assured tools to ensure backend functionality and stability.

Other responsibilities include utilizing JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and project management, working with Docker containers to set up and manage test environments, conducting testing on Windows and Linux operating systems for cross-platform compatibility, and applying TDD and BDD principles to create robust test scripts.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in software development and testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in Python, including proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing, and familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
  • Solid understanding of Playwright automation frameworks and experience with JIRA for test case management.
  • Familiarity with Docker and ability to work with containers, as well as knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies and familiarity with performance and security testing concepts is a plus.
