Job Title:
Production Planning and Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Planning and Control Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing detailed production forecasts, creating and monitoring production schedules, and ensuring the accurate and timely procurement of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage detailed production forecasts based on customer orders, historical data, and market trends to ensure optimal inventory and production schedules.
  2. Create, monitor, and adjust the production schedule based on demand, raw material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
  3. Coordinate the availability of manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production targets.
  4. Ensure the accurate and timely procurement of materials required for production, minimizing downtime due to material shortages.
  5. Analyze production capacity and recommend adjustments to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with production goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in production planning and control, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP systems, and production scheduling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word). Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
