About this Opportunity:

At a leading organization, we seek an experienced technical leader to design and implement end-to-end solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

Main Responsibilities :

  • We are looking for someone who can define end-to-end solutions, perform proof-of-concepts, design applications, and lead integration and migration efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will design and implement data architecture solutions leveraging GCP technologies including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Data Catalog, Composer (Airflow), Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, and more.
  • The successful applicant will develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance within Google Cloud environments.
  • They will also lead Looker platform design, development, configuration, dashboard creation, and reporting.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, JIRA, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Checkmarx, and Cyberflow is required to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.
  • The role involves architecting secure data storage, transformation pipelines, event processing, APIs, and enforcing IAM and cloud security best practices.
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions is essential.
  • Candidates should be able to navigate ambiguity and prioritize project needs while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication of technical concepts to engineering teams and business audiences is crucial.
  • Agile and SAFe principles will be applied to project delivery and team collaboration.

Requirements :

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years focused on Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud technologies.
  • Strong expertise in GCP big data and data warehousing services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud SQL).
  • Proficiency with Looker BI platform design and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools : Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Checkmarx, Cyberflow, and JIRA.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data storage, transformation, event-driven processing, APIs, and cloud security (IAM).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe development environments.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Knowledge of ESG compliance and regulations is an advantage.
