Job Title : Costing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Costing Engineer to assume a key role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely cost settlement on CCPM project through metal, machined, rubber, and plastic parts.
  • Protect margins on part cost as per internal customer requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Cost settlement with suppliers using Zero base costing (ZBC) and Total cost of ownership (TCO) methodology.
  • Monthly commodity monitoring for commodity expenses and analysis.
  • Raw material prices - amendment Monthly, Quarterly, or Half yearly.
  • Visit suppliers to understand their capability on cost drivers, labor skill matrix, electricity effective utilization, process control, raw material planning with forecasting efficiency, rejection levels, efficiency matrices, workflow losses, shop floor management, waste elimination, and commercial settlements.
  • Optimize input raw materials and post-operation expenses.
  • Settle MHR (Machine Hour Rate) with suppliers for press, CNC, VMC, coating processes, and competitive pricing.
  • Spend analysis for generating cost-saving ideas.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for proper analysis.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or BE (Mechanical) degree from a recognized institution.
  • 8-14 years of experience in the field.
  • Knowledge of Process understanding, Draw, forming processes, Machining processes, Surface finishing processes, Raw material grades, Quality systems, IATF 2016 System, Core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Injection molding, Blow molding, AUTOCAD, 3D Software, location-wise labor rates, landed electricity charges, and tax structures.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in costing engineering, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
