Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and optimize Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) foundations for large-scale renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize WTG foundations using various methods such as gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, ribbed beam, shallow mat, etc.
  • Perform load and stress calculations to ensure structural integrity, considering factors like gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue.
  • Develop cost-effective and sustainable construction strategies aligned with international standards.
  • Prepare and review design documents, including Structural Design Basis Reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculation packages.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, electrical, and civil experts to deliver comprehensive project designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards, such as BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, and EUROCODE.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement while balancing safety, quality, and cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
  • Master's in Structural/Civil Engineering with advanced knowledge in structural analysis.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities/Renewable Energy sector with proven WTG foundation design expertise.
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, and hydrological risk assessment.
  • Expertise in wind turbine foundation design.
