Job Summary:

\

As a Senior Oligo Synthesis Specialist, you will lead the development and implementation of oligo synthesis strategies for therapeutic and diagnostic programs.

\

The successful candidate will have a strong background in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics, with experience in automated solid-phase synthesis, HPLC, PAGE, CE, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and MS.

\

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent laboratory skills, including the ability to maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

\Responsibilities:\
  • Develop and implement oligo synthesis strategies for therapeutic and diagnostic programs.\
  • Lead cross-functional method development and QC initiatives.\
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver precision-driven solutions in genomics and beyond.\
  • Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety, and SOPs.\
  • Purify and characterize oligos using HPLC, PAGE, CE, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and MS.\
  • Scale synthesis to mmol level with >99% coupling efficiency.\
  • Run automated solid-phase synthesis (detritylation–oxidation cycles).
\Requirements:\
  • Ph.D. + 2–5 yrs in oligo synthesis and analysis.\
  • Strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics.\
  • Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
