Automation Engineering Professional

About This Role:

  • Translate test scenarios into automated scripts utilizing C# for GUI and API testing.
  • Maintain adherence to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and services in a client-server environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote proactive approach to manual and automation testing.
  • Demonstrate understanding of web-based architecture and debugging skills.
  • Independently execute functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing following SCRUM guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Review and fix code issues identified in scheduled automation runs.
  • Analyze root cause of script failures and logged bugs.
  • Submit and track defects identified through automation.
  • Timely escalate and follow up on blocking issues and deviations from SOPs.

Necessary Skills:

  • Solid knowledge in automation testing.
  • Good experience in C# programming.
  • Experience in testing web services and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
