Design Coordinator/Planner Role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator/Planner to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and comment on drawings furnished by consultants
  • Optimize design and details from cost and safety parameters through value engineering
  • Coordinate with architects, stakeholders, and services consultants to ensure seamless project execution
  • Proficiently handle AutoCAD drawings
  • Closely interact with internal teams, including PM, Contracts, Engineers, EHS, etc.
  • Track design deliverables, including concept design, GFC drawings, technical specifications, etc.
  • Organize design meetings for smooth coordination and circulation of meeting minutes
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in design coordination and planning
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project tool for scheduling and tracking
