The Advanced Embedded Engineer will be responsible for developing end-to-end test solutions for avionics simulation benches. This engineer will work on core architecture, development of effective test solutions, and integration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to requirements analysis and decomposition for test stations
  • Understand both hardware and software development life cycles
  • Create robust avionics simulation benches for product families and configurations
  • Leverage simulation model-based development system design, systems integration, systems validation and verification, and certification with strong problem-solving skills
  • Contribute to innovation and new product development for enhancing test systems design, cost, and cycle time
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, define overall vision, and communicate ideas and solutions effectively
  • Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand overall test solution needs
  • Work as a champion in technologically complex systems with multiple constraints and take smart risks
  • Effectively map the competitive landscape, benchmark design and technology trends
  • Project coordination and budget/schedule responsibility
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in avionics domain with hands-on experience in test solution development
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or computer science
  • Hands-on experience in C/C++, C#, Python, and MS Visio, Visual Studio, MS Excel
  • Good understanding of analog and digital communication protocols like RS422, A429, CAN bus etc.
  • Quick learner and excellent communication skills
