Key Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating deals, preparing credit memos and presenting them to senior management. This involves understanding the industry, business and financial models including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.

Main Functions:

  • Prepare well-structured credit memos for senior management review.
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, financial ratios and corporate lending.
  • Provide timely interest and principal repayments ensuring smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective deal disbursement.
  • Conduct thorough market research to assess creditworthiness.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid hold on industry, financial and credit principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.
  • Hands-on experience in credit memo preparation.
  • A degree in finance, accounting or a related field is essential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field.
