We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to help us build and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on Azure.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Azure services, with hands-on experience in AKS, Ubuntu, Azure Front Door, PostgreSQL, Docker, and related DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on Azure, utilizing AKS for container orchestration.
    • Configure and maintain Azure Front Door for efficient traffic management and enhanced security.
  • Containerization & Orchestration:
    • Develop and manage Docker containers and images, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
    • Orchestrate Kubernetes clusters on AKS and monitor their performance and health.
  • Automation & CI/CD:
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating builds, tests, and deployment workflows.
    • Set up and optimize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM Templates.
    • Configure and manage PostgreSQL databases on Azure, including setup, backup, scaling, and tuning for optimal performance.
  • Security & Monitoring:
    • Ensure system security by setting up best practices for firewalls, access controls, and security policies.
    • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other tools.
  • Operating Systems & Scripting:
    • Configure and maintain Ubuntu environments, ensuring smooth operations and effective troubleshooting.
    • Write and maintain scripts (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) for automation and maintenance tasks.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically AKS, Azure Front Door, and PostgreSQL.
  • Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Operating Systems: Solid experience with Ubuntu and Linux-based systems.
  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
  • CI/CD: Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform or ARM Templates.
  • Monitoring & Security: Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) and security best practices.
