Electrical Proposal Specialist


">Job Description:

The Electrical Proposal Specialist plays a pivotal role in our business development process. This position requires a solid background in electrical and control systems, with experience in estimating DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC & other control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Read and interpret electrical drawings to select switchgear according to motor load lists.
  2. Prepare detailed technical offers, system architectures, bill of materials, heat load and power calculations for control panels.
  3. Evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs from current and potential customers.
  4. Lead core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs from current and potential customers.
  5. Perform site visits to collect information and utility/facility constraints regarding projects.
  6. Address commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  7. Take daily, weekly project sales meetings and monitor progress.

Requirements:

  • Basic electrical and control knowledge with experience in estimation of DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC & other control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and do switchgear selection according to motor load lists.
  • Knowledge of current load calculation, bus bar selection and basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Preparation of GA in Excel.
  • Strong communication, analytical, relationship management and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • BE Electrical/Electronics/ENTC/Instrumentation degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
