Job Opportunity: Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a skilled mechanical drafter to support our design and engineering team by creating accurate technical drawings and layouts for components and assemblies used in pneumatic conveying systems.

  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Solid Edge under the supervision of experienced engineers.
  • Convert design concepts and hand sketches into detailed manufacturing drawings, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Update existing drawings based on engineering changes or feedback from production teams.
  • Maintain drawing standards and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with junior/senior engineers to understand project requirements and needs.

Requirements

  • A relevant ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Draftsmanship or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with knowledge of Solid Edge or similar 3D tools being a plus.
  • A solid understanding of GD&T, mechanical components, and manufacturing basics is essential.
