Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Develop and implement high-availability solutions utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • Oversee automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyze system performance and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency. Utilize monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.
  • Implement security best practices to protect cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms using tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and serve as an escalation resource for all technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Experience administering Okta.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
