Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure architecture and configurations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize cloud infrastructure performance and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in cloud infrastructure and technology.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in an infrastructure engineering role or similar position.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven ability to architect for scale, availability, and high-performance workloads.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, Kustomize).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Experience with client relationship management and project planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Networking Certifications, Google Cloud Security Certifications, etc.).
  • Software development experience (e.g., Terraform, Python).
  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
