Key Challenges of Cloud Automation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments. This individual will lead the development of reusable and scalable infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Infrastructure Solutions: Create automated provisioning and configuration scripts for public, private, and hybrid clouds.
  • Implement VMware Automation: Use Aria stack to enable policy-as-code and automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments.
  • Manage OpenShift Clusters: Support containerized environments by building and managing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot and Optimize: Troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams to streamline software development life cycle (SDLC).
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in IaC tools, scripting languages, and cloud providers.
  • Experience with Kubernetes: Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker is essential for this role.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas effectively.
