Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced business intelligence developer to create, maintain, and support custom automated reports and analytics for strategic decision-making in our Marketing and Sales efforts.
About the Role:- Create efficient, scalable data pipelines for marketing and sales data using Perl/Python and Oracle SQL.
- Design interactive dashboards and visualizations to drive business insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide innovative solutions.
- Optimize existing reports and processes for better performance and accuracy.
- Assist in the implementation and management of marketing technology tools.
- Contribute to other technical projects within the organization as needed.
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, statistics, marketing analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience producing automated and scheduled reports and analytics using technical tools.
- Proficiency in Perl and/or Python programming languages.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle databases.
- Understanding of Linux/UNIX environments, shell scripts, and command-line operations.
- Experience with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics, is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS (S3, Athena) and Google BigQuery is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with financial markets or the brokerage industry.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and metrics.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), scheduling tools (e.g., Cron), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Excel).
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
