Unit Finance Head

Job Description:

To oversee the financial department's smooth and efficient functioning, we are looking for a seasoned professional to manage cash and statutory compliance while monitoring strategic amendments as needed.

  • Establish internal controls to ensure proper fund usage and movement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting in accordance with unit requirements.
  • Provide monthly reports to stakeholders detailing performance against annual budget and significant matters.
  • Monitor management reporting including profitability, revenues, and pricing tariff set by billing models.
  • Integrate budget and forecasting models, funding cash reporting, and working capital; monitor unit performance.
  • Manage risk proactively, prioritize risks, and minimize them through regular review and necessary Corporate/Board communication.
  • Handle queries related to internal and external audit activities collaborating with Group compliance.
  • Ensure accurate taxation policies including corporate, VAT, and tax planning.
  • Negotiate with key vendors and contribute to commercial areas.
  • Lead and motivate the finance team to meet company performance targets.
  • Facilitate effective interface, integration, and collaboration between finance and related business areas.
  • Represent the organization externally ensuring its reputation and capability are perceived positively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 12+ years of experience in finance preferably in the Hospital/Healthcare domain.
  • CA/CMA qualification.
  • Proficient in English and Hindi.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Observational and critical thinking skills.
  • Teamwork and people skills.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Dealing with emotionally charged and difficult situations.
