We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in engineering and consulting services for clients in the U.S. and U.K.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Analysis & Design: Develop structural designs from conceptualization to completion, incorporating analysis and design of structures made from steel or aluminum, rigid bus bars, and concrete foundations for various equipment such as breakers and transformers.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to less experienced engineers, ensuring quality control (QA/QC) process adherence and performing quality reviews of production drawings and engineering documents.
  • Project Execution: Contribute to the development of drawings, proposals, and procurement packages, preparing conceptual designs, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate design activities with other disciplines both in India and abroad, ensuring effective communication with other engineering teams and supporting recruitment initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree potentially substituting for one year of experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, focusing on substation structures and equipment foundations, with a preference for experience in U.S. and U.K. projects.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of industry codes and standards, including AISC, ACI, IBC, IEEE, BS, and EU, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design software like AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, ability to present ideas, compose detailed reports, and effectively manage workload.
