Senior Credit Management Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Credit Management Specialist to lead our credit management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting and decision-making processes for home loan and loan against property files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of ACMs/BCMs to ensure efficient underwriting and decision-making processes.
  • Underwrite and make decisions on home loan/loan against property files sourced by the sales team, maintaining adherence to guidelines and timelines.
  • Manage the entire state with the team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting performance metrics.
  • Evaluate borrowers' profiles, assessing their repayment capacity and income stability to determine creditworthiness.
  • Analyze financial data, banking analysis, and bureau reports to inform credit decisions.
  • Assess customer-related information in line with credit & risk policy to verify eligibility.
  • Engage with customers through meetings and personal discussions to understand their business needs and loan requirements.
  • Analyze legal and technical reports on properties to inform lending decisions.
  • Maintain a high-quality portfolio and ensure delinquency rates remain within acceptable limits.
  • Develop local policies to support the organization's goals, striking a balance between customer acquisition and yield.
