Job Title: Tax Associate - US Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Tax Associate in the United States. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in US GAAP general accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist experienced associates in driving deliverables and contributing to team success.
  • Research and assess complex tax issues to identify solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and manage the company's tax database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by forwarding required information in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes related to taxes, applying knowledge to enhance organizational performance.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports, providing insights into financial performance.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting with US taxation experience.
  • Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification preferred, with progress towards certification a plus.
  • Strong skills in building client rapport and working relationships, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic, with a proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other US accounting systems, with knowledge of intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
