Job Role: Fund Accountant

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds
  • Reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity
  • Reviewing cash management proposals from administrators and instructing them to make additional cash movements as required
  • Formulating proposals for near-term cash management, including loan drawdowns/repayments, Money Market Fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades
  • Liaising with fund owners within the Treasury team to review and agree proposals

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
  2. Analyze data and identify trends
  3. Develop and implement effective cash management strategies
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA & equivalent qualifications
  • 9+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably managing or leading employees
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
