Job Description

As a Principal Designer, you will lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies for our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership and direction to assigned project teams, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to best practices.

  • You will develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges, leveraging cutting-edge BIM methodologies and tools.
  • Independently, you will determine and develop an approach to solutions, considering project constraints and client requirements.
  • Performs complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM processes into overall project workflows, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mentors and trains junior team members on BIM technologies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conducts regular quality assurance checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Participates in client meetings to present BIM strategies, address technical concerns, and provide expert advice on PHE (Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical) systems integration.
  • Stays abreast of the latest developments in BIM technologies and PHE design, incorporating innovative solutions into project workflows.
  • Develops and maintains BIM execution plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinates with external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure seamless integration of BIM models with construction processes.
