Key Performance Indicators for this role include ensuring accurate and timely management of software assets, compliance with contractual requirements, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process software requests via a centralized portal to ensure efficient license allocation and minimize administrative overhead.
  2. Validate license availability and assign licenses through vendor portals to guarantee alignment with contractual and financial obligations.
  3. Initiate license harvesting or procurement when necessary to maintain optimal software asset utilization.
  4. Maintain accurate records of license assignments, usage, and compliance to facilitate audit readiness and strategic decision-making.
  5. Track contract expirations using dashboards to ensure proactive renewal planning and minimize potential disruptions.
  6. Coordinate with legal and procurement teams to review and renew contracts, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal vendor relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Procurement.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Asana, Remedy (BMC Helix), and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance.
  • Experience with vendor portals and contract management systems.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundation or SAM certification (e.g., CSAM, ITAM).
  • Experience with Intune, Microsoft Entra, and Azure Cost Management.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and legal contract review.
