Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled engineering leader to join our team. As a founding member of our engineering organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the architecture and development of our agentic AI platform.

You will lead high-performing engineering teams in distributed environments, collaborating closely with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world hospital environments.

Your expertise will drive technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives. You will operate with a startup mentality – high autonomy, high responsibility, and a bias toward shipping.

As a core member of the leadership team, you will contribute to company-wide decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience).
  • Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments.
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems and APIs.
  • Experience leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Startup experience or mindset – adaptable, resourceful, and focused on outcomes.
