Taxation Specialist

As a seasoned professional in the realm of taxation, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our organization's financial planning and operations. Your primary focus will be on supporting assessment proceedings, collaborating with tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate support for strategic and annual planning.
Tax Support Expertise
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in taxation, with expertise in corporate tax and international taxation. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Assessment Proceedings: Collaborate with tax authorities to resolve ongoing matters, ensuring timely and accurate support for strategic and annual planning.
- Liaising with Tax Authorities: Draft rectification applications, related submissions, and technical responses to penalty proceedings, stay of demand, demand adjustment, appeal effect applications, etc.
- Conduct Research and Prepare Submissions: Analyze direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing comprehensive technical submissions.
- Prepare and File Corporate Tax Returns: Independently handle TDS returns and advance tax computations based on estimates.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Additionally, they should have a proactive and resourceful approach, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
