We are a fintech startup that aims to revolutionize credit access for underserved communities by connecting individual lenders and borrowers together. Our platform cuts out the need for an intermediary, offering highly customized and affordable loans than traditional lenders.
Our pioneering model in India has proved to be game-changing for providing timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. We recently pivoted into an NBFC-P2P and have a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.
We are a small team with big dreams, looking for talented individuals to join our mission-driven team. We seek an experienced, dynamic, and motivated People Leader to handle our HR department and support our employees.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and people-centric AVP – Human Resources to handle our HR function and support organizational growth. This role will focus on building a strong talent pipeline, shaping company culture, driving compliance, and supporting leadership with HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Strategy: Develop and maintain internal and external talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage hiring strategies and process, enhance candidate experience, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Culture & Values: Drive initiatives that build a strong, inclusive, and values-driven culture.
- Leadership Support: Act as an advisor to business leaders and teams.
- Performance Management: Guide managers on effective goal setting, evaluations, and feedback practices.
- Employee Development: Support learning initiatives and manage development journeys for top talent.
- HR Compliance & Administration: Ensure policies align with laws and best practices; manage HR operations, systems, and audits.
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and promote healthy workplace relationships and employee engagement.
- Policy & Benefits: Maintain policies and oversee compensation, benefits, and perks administration.
Requirements:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in HR management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
