Job Title: Public Relations Specialist

Oceedee is a modern shoe brand known for its exquisite and contemporary designs with a strong focus on craftsmanship. We take pride in our ability to customize shoes for comfort, bringing designs that fit the modern woman.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Influencer Collaborations: Identify relevant influencers for content creation, coordinate campaigns and manage influencer outreach strategies.
  • Celebrity Collaborations: Liaise with relevant stylists for organic product placements, feature celebrities in Oceedee.
  • Media Relations: Develop relationships with fashion, lifestyle and luxury media outlets (online + print), secure press coverage in leading publications, blogs and digital platforms, maintain a media contact database.
  • Press Communication: Write press releases, media kits and brand stories reflecting Oceedee's ethos, coordinate sample requests, image pulls and product placements.
  • Brand Collaborations: Identify relevant partners for synergistic collaborations, develop outreach strategies and drive campaign execution.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage and prepare monthly PR reports, monitor industry trends and competitors' activities.

Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in PR, Communications, Fashion or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in PR or Communications, preferably in the fashion or lifestyle industry, strong network of media contacts, excellent written and verbal communication skills, eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet deadlines, self-starter passion for fashion and storytelling.
