Job Title: Qlik Replicate Specialist

As a highly skilled Qlik Replicate specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data replication strategies to ensure seamless information flows between multiple systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying performance bottlenecks, resolving connectivity issues, and proactively addressing potential failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Replication & Management: Design and implement real-time, batch, and CDC - Change Data Capture data replication strategies between multiple systems, ensuring high availability, failover, and load balancing.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze and resolve complex replication, synchronization, and data transfer errors, providing second-tier support for data integration issues.
  • Upgrades & Patches: Apply software updates, patches, and perform upgrades on Qlik Replicate to keep the platform up to date and secure, ensuring compatibility with source and target systems during the update process.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation for Qlik Replicate configurations, system architecture, and troubleshooting procedures, developing regular reports on replication health, data flow status, and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration & Training: Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data replication requirements, providing training and support to team members and business users on using Qlik Replicate effectively.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security policies for data replication, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging, ensuring compliance with data governance standards and regulations.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup: Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure replication continuity in case of system failures, performing regular backups and disaster recovery drills to ensure data integrity and availability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data replication strategies.
  • Expertise in Qlik Replicate installation, configuration, and management.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, cloud storage integration, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training and support.
  • Experience with security policies, access controls, and audit logging.
