Key Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Valueline team, you will be responsible for designing and developing detailed designs for aluminium doors and windows, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and building standards.

Design Development: Create and develop innovative designs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, utilizing your expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).

Project Management: Collaborate with architects, clients, engineers, and sales executives to understand design requirements and translate them into feasible and innovative solutions, ensuring timely completion of projects.

Technical Expertise: Prepare technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, and design layouts, utilizing your knowledge of aluminium profiles, materials, and fabrication techniques.

Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Problem-Solving: Assist in resolving any design-related issues or conflicts that arise during the installation, ensuring the correct implementation of design specifications.

Site Visits: Conduct site visits if needed to assess project progress and ensure the correct implementation of design specifications.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the estimation team to provide design inputs for accurate cost estimation and budgeting, optimizing designs to minimize waste and reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in M.S. Office.
  • Proficiency in designing windows using Orgadata/window maker and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of aluminium profiles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience & Preferred Skills:

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the relevant industry.
  • Knowledge on the glass specifications.
  • Design software such as SketchUp or 3D modelling tools.
  • Knowledge in working with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
