Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs for various applications, tools, and networks.

This role involves working closely with product designers during the design phase, creating technical approaches to building features, breaking down, refining, and delivering work with your team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, able to multitask effectively, and possess strong communication skills.

Daily Tasks:

  • Developing microservices and frontend code
  • Testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Participating in scrum activities
  • Collaborating with support, product management, and other service teams

Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, Python
  • Knowledge of microservices frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut
  • Experience building interfaces, including JSON REST APIs, GraphQL
  • Front-end scripting experience, including JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, KnockoutJS
  • Web markup experience, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Container-based deployment experience, like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Addtional skill in one or more of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis
  • Test framework experience, including Postman/Newman, JUnit, Enzyme, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer
  • Distributed source control experience, including Git
  • Build tool experience, such as Gradle, Maven, Webpack, Npm, Yarn
  • Continuous deployment tool experience, like TeamCity, Jenkins
  • Working experience within a Linux-based environment
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools and debugging tools

Functional Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle
  • Experience developing distributed, fault-tolerant applications
  • Agile methodology experience, specifically Scrum
  • Ticket tracking system experience, such as JIRA
  • Ability to translate wireframes into prototypes and production-ready interfaces
  • Ability to quickly pick up new languages and technologies
  • Self-driven, able to work independently on projects even while designs are evolving
  • Strong desire to stay up-to-date with new technologies and services
  • Passionate about learning
  • Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to deliver basic functionality and iterate
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and clinical applications is a plus
