Statistical Expertise for Clinical Trials

A Senior Biostatistician is a key collaborator in the development of high-quality statistical expertise and support for clinical trials.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to provide statistical leadership and support. Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing statistical leadership and support to clinical trials
  • Conducting sample size calculations as needed
  • Authoring or reviewing statistical analysis plans
  • Coordinating statistical analyses with other biostatisticians, programmers, and data managers
  • Ensuring accuracy of final statistical deliverables
  • Guiding and supervising programmers in authoring analysis dataset specifications and programming/validation of tables, listings, and figures

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in statistics or related field with 6+ years industry experience or PhD with 3+ years postgraduate experience in biostatistics
  • Solid statistics background and training, working knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies and SAS programming skills
  • Good understanding of drug development and experiences with clinical trial data analyses/preparation for submissions
  • Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory guidelines
