Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable systems using AWS cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Contribute to backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and optimize resource utilization for cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments.
  • Administer company platforms like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated on the latest AWS services and features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and managing AWS solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.
  • Containerization technologies and orchestration tools experience is a plus.
